A few weeks ago we launched a multi-book devig and custom weighting feature to allow Pro users to build personalized EV+ filters based upon which books are sharp on different types of markets.

This was only the beginning of a broader effort to provide our Pro users with more filter customization, unmatched devig transparency, and an enhanced Pro feed to make it easier than ever to shop for EV+ opportunities.

Today, we’re excited to announce the release of our new and improved EV+ Pro feed!

📲 iOS app users should update to V 2.93.

Pro Tip: Use the Outlier web app (favored among Pro bettors)

1) You can login here https://app.outlier.bet/login (do not click the AppStore button)

2) Make sure to use the same login method you signed up with (email, phone, AppleID, etc).

Now, what’s new in Outlier Pro?

1) Simplified Feed

We removed the historic hit rates to declutter the screen. You will still be able to see all of that data on each market details page.

We've also added more tool tips to guide you on your way!

2) From left to right you now have

  • Expected Value %

  • The market itself with date and time of it beginning

  • The sportsbook and odds you will be wagering on

  • The Fair Value (FV) / Devigged odds. These have the vig removed.

  • NEW! A clickable stack icon which will open up the Devig details for added transparency. Here you can see which sharp books are being considered in the Fair Value calculation and their weighting

  • Kelly Criterion %: This is the recommended percent of your bankroll to wager on that specific market. Learn more about Kelly Criterion here

  • NEW! Market Width: This refers to the difference between odds on both sides of the wager. A low market width suggests the books have higher confidence in the odds, while a high width suggest less confidence and more vig being added.

  • NEW! Coefficient Variation: This is the measure of discrepancy between devig (or sharp) books for a given EV+ market. Higher variation suggests more price difference beteween the books, lower variation suggests a stronger consensus between books.

    • This metric can help identify EV+ opportunities from a slow moving book that hasn't updated their odds to the sharp books with an existing consensus or agreement on the line.

3) Odds Comparison in-feed
